Clinton Hollander became a Prentice Loader Dealer, and moved to Gainesville, Florida, in 1961.
Working out of a Service Station, the Dealership steadily grew larger and more profitable. In January of 1965 Clint purchased 6.25 acres of property on US Hwy. 441, just North of Gainesville. On this property he built a 2400 sq. ft. building from which to operate his business. Upon moving to this location he named the business Hollander's Hydraulics. In January of 1969 Hollander's Hydraulics, incorporated and became Hollander's Hydraulics, Inc., as it remains today. Hollander's Hydraulics, Inc. continued to expand as new products and services where added to compliment and support the growing business. In 1974 an additional 5600 sq. ft. building was built to accommodate additional Office Space, a much larger Parts Room and additional Service facilities. In 1998 controlling ownership was passed to Clint's son Brian Hollander.
